The latest from axial flow combine Case IH improve productivity, economy and provides easy operation. Modern engine technology used to combine these features to improve performance and reduce fuel consumption

CASE IH has launched a new generation of axial flow combine Agritechnica 2011. Divided, as before, in two ranges, axial flow combine series 130 and 230 were updated every year. Each range consists of three models, each model features a number of innovations and enhanced features.

Small diameter rotor for optimum results threshing

Threshing performance for all cultures and operating conditions, is well controlled by engineers at Case IH. "Heart" technical combine the two sets of remains rotor axial flow, developed by Case IH, but the technology has been updated and adapted to meet the changing harvest. A new small diameter rotor has an optimized geometry for the series 130.

Thanks to new forms, standard setting has been reduced sensitivity to all cultures, while threshing performance in particular was stimulated cultures without affecting straw quality. At the same time, a reputation that combines axial flow from CASE IH won an offering low cereal seed broken remains unquestioned.

New types of materials used ensures extended life and reliability rotor. Special alloys are used in Sections rotor head and intake, while the rotor drive components were also upgraded.

EfficientPower offers more performance ...

New axial-flow models benefit from the concept of EfficientPower at the Case IH combine. In addition to advanced engine technology, they have an innovative exhaust cleaning, system based on selective catalytic reduction (SCR). Compact unit is integrated into the exhaust system.

SCR system used in exhaust gas cleaning was developed together with Fiat Powertrain Technologies (FPT) and has been road tested applications over several years by Fiat Industrial Group.

... and lower fuel consumption

SCR to new axial flow combine, which uses a particulate filter to remove soot and AdBlue to convert nitrogen oxide into nitrogen and water, has a high thermodynamic efficiency. Field trials indicate possible fuel savings of up to 10 percent compared with conventional engine technology. At the same time, performance is improved engine response.

Exhaust gases emitted from Case IH engines are now almost cleaner than the air intake. The system has several advantages in practice. Thanks to optimize the combustion process, the physical properties of motor oil are maintained for longer, which means maintenance intervals can be increased and reduced downtime.

Meanwhile, the SCR system reduces heat emissions from numerous engine components, increasing reliability and lifetime.

SCR system works automatically and reliably, regardless of fuel quality. All you have to do is complete the operator urea solution AdBlue regularly. Initial analysis indicates that cost effectiveness, despite the additional cost of AdBlue filling, fuel consumption is reduced considerably. For every 1 euro spent on AdBlue can save up to 7 euros of fuel.

Engine performance

130 Series combines are equipped with engines from FPT. FPT engine with 6.7 liter cubic capacity is mounted model 5130, producing almost the same power as the previous model, while the 6130 and 7130 combines FPT engine uses a cylinder capacity of 9 liters.

Power rating and maximum power values were increased at both combine 6130 model developing 387 hp and a maximum of 7130 model a maximum of 415 hp. Engine power curves have been reviewed to ensure high productivity at low fuel consumption in all conditions.

Case IH Tier III engine with 6 cylinders has a rated speed of 2500 rev. / Min., Rated power of 365 hp, 422 hp maximum power and fuel tank capacity is 1000 liters.

Each model combines can be equipped with AFS (Advanced Farming System). This system refers to equipment with radar that can track activity from the perspective combine all the technical characteristics. Among them: fuel consumption, crop area, mapping, data on humidity, amount harvested in a given period of time etc..

All models can be equipped with four tires from 710/70R38 to 460/70R24 1050/50R32 front and 600/65R28 rear to.

230 Series combines axial flow

Series 230 is the new flagship combines class from Case IH, consisting of models 7230, 8230 and 9230 axial flow, with a maximum power up to 571 hp and a header width from 7.6 m to 10.7 7230 m model now has the same size of the area to combine cleaning as 8230, self-leveling as standard.

Grain hoppers mounted 230 series are among the largest in their class - as large as those de12 capacity 330 liters mounted on 8230 and 9230 models - due to hydraulic folding extensions. The result is longer interval between downloads and higher productivity.

Soil protection when working in the field

Case IH company is known for its tractors traction and flotation Quadtrac high and now 230 series combines entitled to the same tracking technology, proven for over a decade.

Reduce ground pressure and improved traction helps protect soil structure and micro-organisms, both on dry soils and those wet and traces have width of 610 mm, which means that the machine does not exceed the width of 3.5 m and can move at 20 km / h Covered with rubber tread wheels and the chassis with rubber shock absorbers provide a smooth ride.

New settings are adjustable axial flow rotor at the touch of a button for different harvesting conditions and cultures.
Convenient cleaning system

To combine Case IH is now available compressed air system for five connections in key areas such as the engine compartment, battery case, and grain hopper car. A self-retractable hose 6 m easily achieve all connection points. Compressed air system is supplied with a pressure vessel 60 liters.

At the 7120 version have following system cleaning and shaking: 5.48 sqm surface cleaning, 3-stage cleaning system, ventilation system speed 300-1150 rev. / Min. equipped with sensor, return the rotor system, total area 5.4 square sieve.

Optimal placement of furrow

For those who want to bale behind the combine, straw management and Pleva was optimized by installing a new straw chute, ensuring symmetrical furrow and airy, even in the presence of a crosswind.

To grinding, new optional electrically adjustable deflectors improve distribution when necessary. Distribution of fines can be monitored using a standard rearview camera and adjusted according to changing wind direction and terrain variations.
